Jannel Rap offers instruction in voice, songwriting, piano, guitar, ukulele and flute. She began her music career, singing at church when she was three years old, By eight years old she was playing the piano and writing her first original tunes. She toured the United States in her teens with a variety of bands and continued on to date with the Band-Clementine, The C Street Band, as a solo artist and in a duo with her son, Elijah She majored in music at North Central University in Minneapolis. She received her teaching credential from USD. Some of her students have had their own TV series and featured roles in movies and record deals. Rap recorded nine albums and has shared the stage with or opened for: Sophie B Hawkins, Nickel Creek, Stevie Wonder, John Waite, James Valentine of Maroon Five, Loudon Wainwright III, The Yardbirds, Susan Gibson, Drake Bell, Lowen and Navarro and more...

She organized GINA Concerts, The Squeaky Wheel Tour for the Missing and The GINA Songwriter Contest, as part of the GINA for Missing Persons FOUNDation. GINA was founded after the 2001 disappearance of her sister, Gina Bos. The Squeaky Wheel tour has been in over fourteen countries and most of the United States. GINA partnered with entertainers all over the world to highlight local missing persons at concerts and entertainment events. Thousands of missing people have been highlighted and hundreds that have been profiled have been found. She co-created and co-produced the TV series America Lost and FOUND with Jeffrey Casey.
