Violin

Jackson is currently studying musical performance at California State University, Long Beach, being classically trained and learning Jazz and Rock as well. He immerses his life in music as it is his way of living.
Jackson has started playing the violin since he was 5, under the guidance of John Wang and his family, who has a long history in the arts. He is currently being taught under Moni Simeonov, who is a former student of Midori Goto. In Japan he is under the guidance of Hiroaki Watarai, a member of the Gunma Symphonic Orchestra.
Being able to fluently speak English and Japanese, he spends part of his time in Japan performing, and teaching students of all ages and levels. A couple of ensembles and orchestras he has played for include Ars Nova Sinfonia, FOOSA Philharmonic, Asia America Youth Symphony, California Honor Orchestra, and the Long Beach Bob Cole Conservatory Orchestra.
He specially tailors his lessons for his students to make music learning enjoyable and efficient.
